Love fastens two people but it touches both...
Seat belts and regular belts fasten but not two people...
An umbilical cord fastens two people - not sure how you would interpret the touching thing though...
A leash! It fastens me to my dog but only touches me since it is attached to the collar.
(I put way too much thought into this, didn't i?) LOL
I agree with Cairo, there's a lot of things that almost apply. How about a taser? :D Ouch!
I think a wedding ring is probably the nicest answer!
